M Neil Browne

M. Neil Browne’s 54 years of consulting about and teaching critical thinking has made him a global presence as a critical thinking thought leader.

Browne is a sought-after consultant for civil legal cases and has consulted with organizations such as the Air Force Academy, the Naval War College, the Social Security Administration, the National Security Agency, hedge funds, and 35 universities. Moreover, his critical thinking text Asking the Right Questions is a CT staple and can be read in 14 languages.

A tirelessly prolific author, M. Neil Browne has published 56 books and 170 professional articles in education, law, sociology, and economics. He. has co-authored numerous legal textbooks taught in more than 120 universities.

Browne has been a National Foundation for the Humanities Scholar and a Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching SiIver Medalist as Best National Professor of the Year.

Chelsea Kulhanek

Kulhanek graduated with a Bachelor’s of Musical Arts in Bassoon Performance with an Entrepreneurship Minor. As an undergraduate, she had the unique opportunity of critical thinking and informal logic coursework. This training, not available to most students, put her on a unique path and has made her passionate about sharing what she has learned along the way.

Professionally, she has cultivated a 12+ year career in real estate and is currently Site Acquisition and Development Lead at Crane Data Centers. She also spearheads investment syndications in multifamily real estate with her partners via their company Basecamp Investment Group.

Chelsea recently finished her J.D. and won first place in the Environmental Law Writing Competition sponsored by the Ohio State Bar Association for her article Breaking the CERCLA Cycle: Are Federal Brownfields Liability Protections Enough to Encourage Investment By Corporate Buyers?

Lauren Biksacky

Lauren Biksacky received her Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Yale Law School.  Since then she has clerked for a federal district court judge, practiced as a corporate civil litigator at a major "BigLaw" firm for half a decade, and currently works as a criminal trial attorney. 

In every role in her legal career, she has focused on the importance of taking critical thinking out of the classroom and using it as a real-world tool to evaluate legal reasoning and persuade others.  She has co-authored numerous legal articles and served as a research assistant for several critical thinking and business law textbooks.  

Nancy Kubasek

Nancy Kubasek has been a Professor of Legal Studies for over 40 years, teaching courses in the Legal Environment of Business, Environmental Law, Medical Ethics, and Critical Thinking to undergraduates. She has published over 100 articles, including both law reviews and pedagogical articles focused on teaching critical thinking and ethical reasoning in the business classroom. She has also conducted faculty development workshops about teaching critical thinking to undergraduates at a number of universities.

She published Environmental Law, the first environmental law text for undergraduate students, and was the lead author on The Legal Environment of Business: A Critical Thinking Approach. She has also published several other business law books.
